Ingredients:
1 lb
Spaghetti
1/4 tsp
Fresh thyme (diced)
1/4 tsp
Parsley
1 lb
Chicken breast
1/2 cup
Red Wine
1/2 cup
White rice wine
2 tbsp
Honey
1 tsp
Minced garlic
1 1/2 cup
Marinara sauce
Directions:
- Start boiling a large pot of water for the pasta.
- Whisk together honey, red and white wines, thyme and minced garlic in a medium-sized bowl. Set aside.
- Dice the chicken. Toss the chicken in the wine/herb mix and allow to marinate for up to 30 minutes.
- Add the pasta to what should now be the boiling pot of water and place a large frying pan on high heat.
- Pour the chicken and sauce mix into the frying pan and stir occasional until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is mostly reduced. Be cautious as the sauce will thicken into a thin syrup as it cooks. Syrup burns suck.
- Once the chicken is fully cooked, stir in the marinara sauce and parsley. Reduce heat and simmer until heated to desired temperature.
- Strain pasta and serve.
